A multidisciplinary creative practice shaped by making, building, and exploring beyond the screen.
Becky’s Basement

Becky’s basement was a first for both me and my daughter, who works as an interior designer. Together, we painted Disney murals across walls and ceiling, and we sculpted a Winnie-the-Pooh tree house from metal mesh and concrete. The finished space inside the tree is large enough to crawl inside and cozy enough to settle into a soft bean bag to read a book with grandpa.

Cardboard Sculpture

Creative interests tend to come in phases, and in 2019 mine centered on cardboard sculpture. While I completed a few commissioned pieces, the most rewarding part was using the medium more freely—almost like sketching in three dimensions. It became a relaxing and restorative creative outlet.
